Probability for Risk and Insurance
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course prepares potential actuaries for international
actuarial and risk management accreditation exams, such as SOA P, IFoA CS 1 , and CFA Level 1. It focuses on fundamental probability tools essential for quantitative risk assessment and ntroduces key concepts in risk and insurance. Participants will learn about random variables, distributional quantities, raw and centered moments, conditional probability, some probability distributions and applying these tools to solve basic actuarial science problems.
